Biography

Florencia is a technology audit and IT risk specialist with more than nine years of experience advising organizations on the assessment, design, and implementation of IT General Controls (ITGCs), SOX compliance programs, and reviews under internal and external audit standards.

She has led multidisciplinary teams on high-impact engagements aimed at strengthening IT governance, risk management, and operational integrity, including testing of automated business process controls, remediation of audit findings, and the development of remediation plans for public companies.

Her experience spans industries such as financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, and retail, supporting organizations with operations and subsidiaries in Mexico and the United States, as well as coordinating budgets, timelines, and deliverables with business and audit executives. Florencia has worked at international-class firms, including two Big Four, within Assurance practices, where she drove operational and service improvements.

She is currently  IT Consulting & Advisory Director at JA Del Río’s Mexico City office.
